About me
I started dancing before I could walk (with 11 months). I could not sit still and badly injured my neck and scull a year later.
I loved ballet as a child and once I found yoga - It made me feel as if I was dancing. My neck trauma did play up and through yoga I found how to strengthen and more importantly, give it space.
I teach hatha, vinyasa, yin, yin yang and face yoga. Within skincare, I have been educated as a facial gua sha master, facial acupuncture and facial cupping. Am trained and certified as an E-RYT® 200 and RYT® 500 have done over 1000 hrs of trainings (YogaWorks, yin, dynamic fascia and restorative yoga) and have been teaching since 2012.
My mother taught me to take care of my skin. I learned by watching her. Always clean it before bed, hydrate and protect it. I had tried Botox a couple of times, as my whole life people commented on my scar in between my eyebrows (from scratching a chicken pock when I was 3 years old) and how I could look angry or serious. While I did not feel like that at all.
It made me realize that how we ‘hold’ our face, communicates much stronger than we are aware off. Anatomy trainings, yin, meridians, fascia and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) got me started and I eventually found the training I was looking for.
And here I am, offering you what I have learned as a certified face yoga & guasha teacher. What I love and makes me happy. I love to connect, present and talk. As so many of you ask, I am at level 49.
